Bicocca and the Maldives signs agreement for EXPO Milan 2015

The University of Milano-Bicocca signed an agreement with Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and appointed the Government of Maldives to represent the Asian country during the the EXPO Milan 2015.

The collaboration will set out what defines the Maldives exhibition pavilion and the effectuation of numerous cultural and scientific events within the pavilion and in different other locations like the University of Milano-Bicocca and Civic Aquarium of Milan.
The agreement was a result of collaboration which lead to a rise of vital projects like the Bicocca international center for research and training on the Faafu Atoll Magoodhoo island, which is known to has become a reference point for scientists from around the globe in the field of sustainable management of tropical marine environments and the formation of the Marine Research and High Education Center (MaRHE) in 2009.
