Jason Kruse, General Manager of Kurumba Maldives commented: “The sponsorship of Kudakudhinge Hiyaa children’s home is a community effort. Most of the funds were raised in the yearly charity event Party with a Purpose, thanks to the generous contributions of suppliers, airlines, resorts sponsoring with free stays for the Silent Auction and performers donating their time. The next Party with a Purpose is scheduled for 24th April 2015 and we hope to raise greater funds and launch greater community projects.”
Kurumba Maldives is set on a tropical island in the North Male Atoll, conveniently located a brief 10-minute speedboat ride away from the airport and Male, the Maldivian capital. Dotted with coconut trees that are the island’s namesake, Kurumba was the first private island resort in the Maldives. Lush tropical gardens, white sandy beaches, and a vibrant house reef are the hallmarks of this classic Maldivian resort.
