Per AQUUM appoints General Managers for Huvafen Fushi and NIYAMA

Per AQUUM resort announced the appointment of Marc Gussing as General Manager of Huvafen Fushi and Dietmar Koegerl as General Manager of NIYAMA.
Marc Gussing, a Swedish national, speaks four languages including English, basic Spanish, Swedish, and French. Before completing his schooling in hotel management in Switzerland and after completion, Marc’s career took him across world to the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, Seychelles, Israel, France, Monaco, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United States of America.
After having held the role of Director of Operations at Huvafen Fushi in 2005, Marc is famous in Per AQUUM. “To have the opportunity to come back and lead this exceptional property is incredible. Many of the original team members are still here and it really feels like I’ve come home. I’m looking forward to bringing more daringly different concepts to Huvafen Fushi over the next 12 months and building on the strong foundations that are already in place” he commented.

Dietmar Koegerl, a German national, a graduate of Insead University and Cornell University, Dietmar began his career in hospitality in Food & Beverage with Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, working in Asia in numerous resorts in the Seychelles and the Maldives, Thailand and Sri Lanka. He then came back to the Maldives in 2009 for the post of General Manager at Anantara Kihavah Villas, where he fronted the successful opening and running operation of one of Anantara’s main resorts.
