The Maldives delegation at TTG 2015 comprised of 35 delegates from 21 Companies representing Resorts and Travel Agencies/DMCs. The head of Maldivian delegation is Mr. Hussain Lirar, the Deputy Minister of Tourism. The Maldives stand is prominently located at stand number 22-23/24-25, Pavilion C3. The concept of the Maldives stand showcased the beauty of the island nation through colorful images.

Italy currently generates 5.4% of the market share to the destination. Maldives recorded a total of 38,392 tourist arrivals during the first six months of 2015, indicating a sign of growth of tourist arrivals to the country. It represented an increase of 7.7% compared to the same period in 2014.
