The Gala Event for Maldives Travel Awards 2016 was held at Olhuveli Beach & Spa Maldives on the 20th of November 2016. The chief guest for the Gala Event was the Minister of Tourism Mr Moosa Zameer. The “Lifetime achievement Award” was awarded to Hon. Dr Ahmed Siyam
Mohamed for his contribution to the Tourism Industry and the country as a whole.
